We are pleased to announce that GreenCarbon’s efforts to create carbon credits by extending the period of drying out rice paddies and its booth at Makuhari Messe during Agriculture WEEK were featured in the TV Tokyo program WBS, World Business Satellite, on October 11 (Wed.) at 10pm.
The content of the broadcast was related to the opening of the TSE carbon credit market on October 11, which saw trading of 3,000 to 9,000 yen on the first day.
The broadcast included an introduction of the methane gas project in rice paddies, an event to compare environmentally friendly rice harvested from paddies with extended drying, an interview with our partner farmers who have actually extended drying, and an interview with our CEO Ohkita on future strategies.
