【Decarbonization Enters the “Utilization” Phase】Leading Players in Carbon Insets and Forest Credits Convene|Carbon Credits Journal Forum Session ② Speaker Introduction

How can companies effectively integrate carbon credits into their business operations? In-depth insights into real-world case studies and the latest trends.

Green Carbon Inc. (Representative Director: Jun Okita; hereinafter “Green Carbon”), which develops and sells nature-based carbon credits, will host one of Japan’s largest carbon credit–focused forums, the Carbon Credits Journal Forum(hereinafter, the “Forum”), on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Tokyo International Forum Hall B7 (directly connected to Yurakucho Station). More than 500 leading decarbonization stakeholders from Japan and abroad will gather to engage in serious discussions on the future of carbon credits.

This time, we introduce the companies participating in Session ② of the Forum: “Carbon Insets – Agriculture-Related Initiatives –” and “Forest Credit Generation.”
In the Carbon Insets session, Kanematsu Corporation, The Norinchukin Bank, FamilyMart Co., Ltd., and Nihon Nogyo Shimbun (as moderator) will take the stage. From their respective perspectives, the panelists will discuss their carbon inset initiatives and share practical insights based on real-world achievements.

In the Forest Credit Generation session, GXIS Inc., Sumitomo Forestry Co., Ltd., and Sendenkaigi Inc. (as moderator, through its quarterly publication Environmental Business and Environmental Business Online) will participate. The panel discussion will focus on initiatives and proven results related to the generation of forest-based carbon credits.
